Leafia is, famously, polarized. Not as hard as before, or maybe people just aren’t as good at reading it. She had this sort of… quality to her that she just doesn’t have as town. Once I found this hard wolftell she had: she only uses the word “gamethrowing” as wolf, to accuse people voting her of gamethrowing. She doesn’t do that word-wise anymore, but you can get the vibe. I mean, she’s indignant as town still, and people who don’t know her will wolfread her either way… but you can kinda tell if you look at them side-by-side, it’s different.

Hippo has known Leafia for a long time, should be very capable of reading her. I’d think Leafia would’ve prioritized killing him over some of the strange targets. Not 100%, Leafia is confident and would leave him alive if he wanted.

The real red flag for me was that Hippo wasn’t noticing that Leafia was a wolf, something he should very much have noticed.

Hippo and Leafia were w/w, it would be more accurate to say Hippo knew but didn’t act on it to get Leafia eliminated.

Richard the post was from the perspective of May, who didn’t know for sure whether hippo was a wolf or town, and thus she would using deduction to point out that hippo wasn’t noticing leafia wolf tells meant it they were wolves together. It would be inaccurate to say this from her perspective.
