Fwiw i think soweli was very wolfy for me d2 and talking to meow (who was tunneled on may) helped me see that may wasn’t really seeing how wolfy soweli was (which funnily enough is how may found leafia/hippo in the last beatings in specchat)
and the beatings will continue because you rand wolf
yknow for a moment i was like “how is solving in spec chat easier than playing the game”
ten i realized u guys know each other’s alignments
how in particular did you think i was wolfy i need to replicate this in my next towngame
don’t tell her jason
I cannot stress enough the importance of playing to a playerlist
I think to me your hippo push didn’t feel very good
think we said in specchat somewhere, soweli can probably find it
yeah i lowkey might just read through all of it
oh interesting
oh right ggs dia you played well glgl in champsze
yeah that helps + no stakes/less scary to sus good players + less emotions/interactions with other players that can mess with you for me I think
also I think we townread you (gummy) really easily since we know you, and you were a poe slot for most of the game, so that helped me a ton personally
Oh well. I think my May/dia pairing made it harder for dia to find May scum…
If I played perfectly identical to last game but 1. never died at night 2. didn’t have a tracker claim to back me up, I would have died and lost. Playing like this is effective.
I specifically resolved pregame that I would play not to imitate my towngame but to imitate what I thought the playerlist’s impression of the modal villager was, and to kill tutuu and Hippo, the two specific people who had a combination of threadpull, experience with me, and confidence in their own reads to actually kill me
Lategame I was mainly playing to be maximally partnered with pandora/pigeon/snow/dia/etc. to ensure soweli could win F3, I was genuinely fine with either outcome of the rand
did wolf chat get released
The beatings
yea it’s in the
Villagers’ weaknesses are usually not their base-level observational skills so much as their higher decision-making around executions. I win most games by going “well, I’m wolfy, but it’s optimal to kill this person first, because obviously I’m always partnered with them, oh wait no they’re town, well kill this person, that’s optimal now” over and over again
