The Bleeding of The Warband [BotC] - Good Wins (11/12+1)

Occultist is meant to be used on SnV or GoS style scripts it makes so much more sense there

If I randed Occultist, I would make up super broken information each day in hopes of learning equivalent information for real.

Where actually maintaining madness requires you to claim risky info, and where your execution hurts the most!

I felt like it was quite damaging considering it effectively translated into “you must claim fortune teller, fencer, high priestess or archivist”

You could always claim occultist but bullshit your info

Also occultist generally learns something powerful, so claiming to learn your one piece of info every day should involve thag

You could even claim an Each Night* role instead but say you received the Visionary question.

Like if magnus wasnt selected to die m1 the info would have been magnus is drunk, you could have said you learned magnus was good, which wouldn’t have triggered a visionary win according to atlas

oh that’s true, and how the role is probably envisioned
I absolutely did not consider doing that lol probably due to the visionary question

Both are valid lol

Once again SnV or GoS coded character

occultist should have to claim occultist and can be executed even if dead and multiple times

then you just tell them crazy strong infos but if they ever tell anyone you execute their body every day

That’s just worse mutant tho

no because mutant doesnt game solving info

its like cassandra style having all the info but you cant say

yes but that’s ridiculously scumsided

It could be worse. You could argue the Obscrul ability granted you the blessing of knowledge from the outer reaches beyond as your informational wellspring if you really want to push it.

I think Occulisf is really funny on scripts such as evil twin, widow, etc etc

I have an outsider idea:

“You win with evil or if your execution ends the game.”

So obviously big thing is ur good when ur dead so you cant scumside and evil cant tell u ur plans but when ur alive u will lie. i think different design space to politician as this outsider actively wants to survive as when theyre alive they cant lose, where as politician will shitpost and die purpsoefully.

Completely fine in isolation and probably one of the better evil-siding Outsiders since, similar to Goon, your direction might flip at any time but it’s more predictable and permanent (unless you’re poisoned in which case suffer).

You’d also be likelier to end as town since your goal is to keep the game going for so long as you can, so it naturally tapers to a point of not being too impactful similar to Cult Leader (in reverse).

What stops the role from outting d1 and town killing it?
