As far as I can tell, doing this gives me absolute town confirmation, or absolute scum confirmation. It is not possible for town to lose if I have absolute town confirmation unless scum has a strongman somewhere.

Scum needs me dead to win this game. Scum knew Iā€™d protect myself last night because of Sultan and did not try. This suggests to me that scum does NOT have a strongman they could have taken me out with.

Sultan is the big outlier here, yes. If he leaves the game, it still just goes down to you and Kiiruma.
