“oh but pesterquest isn’t canon…” there are literally multiple scnees in the comic where Vriska gets really pissy with people because they call her “dude” or “my guy”, she’s absolutely coded transfem in the original comic, it’s just dubiously-canonised in Pesterquest

ok i’m going to properly start but i want to write down eeverything i remember for the before/after image
some homestuck spoilers i guess (maybe two major spoilers)
so there’s the four kids, john egbert, david strider(?) {has a brother}, jade(?), the other one (girl) and they’re like "wow it’s the sburb game it’s i don’t know it’s real life not really though and then they place things & craft things and there’s also the trolls there’s like 12 of them including terzei and karkat and vriska and the other ones and they’re time travelling kinda not realy they’re on a meteor or something but they can only communicate weirdly but they played the game before(?) and they text the kids & troll them!!also john’s dad is there and he’s fighting the like i dunno king of spades in a trench coat + there’s the guys in the future desert wasteland with cameras but they’re actually the main characters i think
uh i do know that you need like two copies of the game the host & the other one and then at some point one of the characters is in like a graveyard
one of the characters is in like a maze butler whatever all their parents & really family suck i think
i believe one of the trolls flies around on a jetpack and blew things up though also their game was more of like a prophecy thing and karkat was like trying to get everyone to work together or something idk
also there’s interfishin’ at some point idk
(i believe there’s a bunch of thieves going around that might be the dad thing or it could’ve been one of the other comics??)
