still baffled that things worked out exactly in the way they did i was so convinced there was something we were missing

that was a game

i felt like we solidly outplayed town for a majority of the game, but made several massive mistakes in the endgame that sank us (even if i hadn’t trueclaimed my role, bussing zug there was a tactical error, we probably could have kept childe alive if we’d been smarter with our actions). Was rooting for kii even though he kind of screwed us there, but ah well. Can’t say town totally lucked into this, the surviving players did all right, ultimately.

Somehow despite compiling as many terrible concepts as possible the setup was actually pretty fun so thanks to the hosts.

I would say that ‘the point’ of the game was a design challenge to maximize the amount of gamebreaking nonsense in the setup while still being ~somewhat equivalent to a mafia game
The expectation I had is that, while the majority of the roles wouldn’t do anything (nothing ever happens), a few would manage to pop off in an iconic manner

What did mafia tried to kill at night 2? We know there’s a bleed death, someone attacking a mafia and the alignment cop died.

But obviously there’s one kill missing (Revenant), but is it also I have indirectly killed the alignment cop or…

It’s ok. Like I feel like I actually probably had won this game if it wasn’t for Zug ironically.
The fact I had the win that close is in itself something I can be proud of.

it might be worse for scum. having a neut whose win condition superseded ours, who we had no way of hunting down with mechanics, was truly a nightmare to deal with which is why we basically lost our minds.

It was funny that we id’d it as being obviously kii but had like no way to deal with it. should have just called him a wolf clearly
