So from my understanding you want to vote willow to get info on how other people will treat her wagon?
Hey, you should do some reading and decide who to execute.
Yeah i didn’t like their post and atm I’m trying to understand what their motivations for wagoning willow are
frostwolf are u a wolf (frosty)
last post i will make for 4 hours but i always hate the We Can’t Vote Them Today We Have to Wait Some Ovligatory Length of Time!!! logic bc 1 i do that as wolf a lot and rely on short term memory and 2 it’s like well do we just say we cannot punt some people d1 bc of their play
Jason (Semi-Evaluated?) - Town. Maybe he went through a mafia training arc in the last several months, but I don’t think this performance comes from w!Jason.
Ishmael (Evaluated) - Town. See the case for quotes and more details, but in short, the fact that she is actively trying to get Shending and YBW executed and has put herself out there to that end is town-coded for her.
Willow (Evaluated) - Town.
Willow Case
Stealing a lot of my work from past-me in Grande Idea, but essentially:
Take, for example, Frieren Mafia, where she almost immediately tries to do things that are expected of “town who is pushing the game forward”:
This is obfuscated in Grande Idea by her opening being her bouncing off meow (this is why I missed it in that situation), but she does start going after Marluna once more people enter thread:
That is not present in this game. If anything, we get something much closer to her town performance in Nintendo Loop.
Willow in this game feels like she’s reacting to the immediate threadstate rather than attempting to blend in and push agenda like she does in her anti-town games.
Do I still want more from her slot? Yeah. But I think her performance this game falls squarely in line with her towngame.
YBW - Towny. I like that she immediately looked at their slot and presumed full innocence; I fully believe Dia’s assessment on Alexis, but I still think that slot was doing things with towny intent, and that carries over to YBW. I also think her longpost is solid? Not nearly as good as Barwe’s, but I think her response to Jason and her overall assertiveness reads towny. This is probably something I’d compare to past games whenever I meta-dive her.
Barwe - Towny. This could just be a translation thing, but I like that he seems to have genuine reactions to specific things that slip through (confusion over Hippo wolfreading meow, Chomps putting too much weight in certainty, etc). Feels less like he’s posting to push agenda and more that he’s posting to verbalize his thoughts. The Shending townread is also fairly towny to me.
Gummy - Light townlean. Mostly anecdotal, but I feel like you don’t feel pressured to play this game? This is disregarding the “whoops forgot game started” and the “have I reached postmin” posts because I think you’re clever enough to fake that as mafia; rather, it doesn’t feel like you’re trying to force reads.
Hippo - Null? From what I remember of Odyssey, Hippo felt more aware of the environment he was playing to (discussing broader strategy about the Kelsier thing comes to mind) versus the more off-the-cuff replies he’s giving in this game. Need to reread that game, though.
Chomps - Null. Still have a side-eye on the Alexis thing, and I’d like more thoughts on non-YBW slots, but he also is mostly engaged with the direct threadstate, which is vaguely lazy town and also contrasts my image of w!Chomps playing primarily to appease people so they don’t execute him.
Shending - Null. I feel like I should have more thoughts on this slot given how central discussion on him has been to this game. Just off vibes, I don’t think he feels like he’s pushing agenda, but this may just be a personality thing. Goal is to try and read the game Jason linked (MU, shudders) and evaluate accordingly.
snow - No thoughts.
Frost - Null. I vaguely feel like Frost is more assertive than this, but I don’t think he’s been involved enough to be assertive on anything yet. Keeping an eye out for this on future days.
meow - Ambivalence.
Meow Thoughts
I have definitely been harsher on her this game than on other slots - fully missing her in GIM was rough - so I’ve been making an effort to try and understand her intentionality this game.
I think she has decent W/W equity with Dia of the defense and also the immediate switch on me, and I think her tierlists have been rather loose and more reflective of gamestate than her actual thoughts, but it’s hard to tell how much of that is just her personality, and it’s countered by her genuine inquisitiveness about the gamestate and people’s reads.
Don’t think we should execute the cat today, but I do want to keep an eye on her.
Dia - Scumlean. I keep going back and forth on whether I’m OMGUS-ing this slot, but I also feel that this is how Dia would play mafia in this game. They’ve been pushing Willow and me, two rather low-hanging slots, off rather flimsy arguments, and they’ve constantly thrown sus on Jason without committing to it. In the aggregate, it’s strongly indicative of agenda.
Not reading this locktown
Okay yeah I agree with this
Only major disagreement is jason and im personally more null on barwe and more of a scumlean on shending
If not dia who else would u do?
snow has 8 posts im sure i can gleam Something
do not kill them just for 8 posts alone on day 1
Could be a reaction post but… well yeah, I would expect dia to understand the implications of their post
okay so snow is right here but i kind of think the… demeanor is a bit wolfy
like, yeah, we Should say all of our reads when we get them. i do not know why dia thinks this is not true but that is a seperate thing that i can evaluate later (its probably going to be wolfy but idk context so)
but ill be real I don’t actually think town!snow points out that it is anti-town, specifically, rather than A Generic Bad Thing or that it Could Be A Reaction Post
… this is a stretch but we take what we can get with an 8 poster
Should I consider this a pressure wagon?
okay nvm this is actually pretty wolfy

it is as if she is asking if she should Care About the wagon on her which imo i think is more wolfy than townie
in theory, this would reflect well on meow if snow is, in fact, wolf
Tbh in a setup like this, I would lynch a lhf d1, so they don’t screw with people’s minds as the game progresses, hence the lack of my motivation to meaningfully solve today
… this is a wolfy as fuck mindset
“hanging a LHF d1” is the kind of thing a Wolf thinks about attempting
not a townie. a townie would attempt to hang a wolf d1
(idt i have much to say on the rest of the posts. they’re meaningful but i can’t divine anything!)
and nobody has pointed any of this out in favor of the shrugyeet
post joycat
(i will probably support snow wagon but. my earlier point still stands)
VOTE: snow
Why are you rolefishing.
??
I kinda refuse to believe you got this strong of a read over the people with hundreds of posts
what does that mean
i did not ISO the people with hundreds of posts what
famously i am fucking terrible at isoing people with >50 posts
Like theyve got 8 posts and you are reading super heavily into super small things when i feel like other people have much wolfier posts?
And even then like
this is a wolfy as fuck mindset
“hanging a LHF d1” is the kind of thing a Wolf thinks about attempting
not a townie. a townie would attempt to hang a wolf d1
“A townie would attempt to hang a wolf d1”
like yeah duh?? lhf doesnt dven automatically mean town? Nothing snow said actually implied any of the things you are saying it did?
And like yes I understand you are not isoing the people with hundreds of posts
… but like if you seriously thinm you can get such a micro read from 8 imo fairly null posts on a player then ljke. Why not go read 8 of meows posts and then decide from there
I think it’s p likely one of [alexis/youbie, ish, dia] is a wolf
If alexis is a wolf making an early powerwolf play to establish thread control, i think wolves would be more self-conscious of joining the wagon since it was started by a wolf
If alexis is town, I think it’s easy for wolves to just follow his push and jump on bc of how strong it was. If shending is a wolf they get cred, if shending is town most of the blame falls on alexis and not them.
Tldr zenon’s law (kinda)
Like theyve got 8 posts and you are reading super heavily into super small things when i feel like other people have much wolfier posts?
well yes it is an 8 poster
