actually i change my mind idt i should be giving ish credit here, i believe as wolf she likes to play more utr instead of taking a leading role
the issue with all of the quoted soft defenses of willow jason made for me is that I had the same feelings during d1, so I can see it coming from a town pov
probably the worst post is jason saying he liked willow more than snow which I think is not good at all, but then he says he said that before seeing willow’s claim and the cc, and then I end up townreading the post for admitting that he was going to townread willow before claim
generally I was not confident on the willow vote at all, she was simply my most preferred vote of everyone because she felt the least likely to become readable in the future. I was a little suspicious off the overall disinterest, but I wasn’t and still am not sure if the meta read was even accurate or just pure luck that she randed wolf twice in a row when playing like this. I wasn’t/am not comfortable making very aggressive pushes, and I didn’t want to push willow into doing more than she wanted to
I was simultaneously worried about being accused of being too aggressive/going for lhf if willow ended up flipping town (ESPECIALLY if she was a pr who never claimed) but then I was also afraid of just letting willow get away with it if she was wolf? I felt like I could sense the same uncertainty from jason, who reached a similar conclusion and decide to change his vote to a more provocative target bc of the wagon being stale or whatever. overall I do read that sort of “try to make something happen” thing as towny from jason, but he does know that I townread him off that, so I guess he could have done that deliberately
genuinely it felt like no one really cared about the willow wagon (maybe I’m lying and need to reread d1, but like it felt like the entire game just collectively shrugged and went “well, willow will be willow” & no one wanted to really push her when her initial wagon happened)
anyway I don’t know what the point of this post really was, but maybe the rest of the wolfcase will introduce more paranoia into me
well it’s like so many of jason’s posts about willow are feelings I could relate to I guess

However, I will respond to this. I think your tunnel is fair, and I didn’t feel like you were opportunistic with it. That by itself doesn’t make me read you town, but if would’ve I thought your questioning was scummy, I would’ve pushed it after addressing it

Summary
the confidence/casualness of these feel like tonally good. I still don’t understand why the soul read thing happened, but I’m kinda assuming it’s some level of joke at this point
someone scumread ishmael’s willow is willowposting read, it doesn’t ping me (the sentiment is relatable), but I can see the angle I suppose

this post had pinged me when I first saw it because I felt like ishmael was doing the same thing of mostly towning players with just a push on shending, but I guess she was technically pushing shending & alexis, and later she does have a slight sus on jason

slightly unsure what to make of this – willow was outed right, and ishmael is still assuming shending is wolf. but the shending wolf push was strongly rooted in a belief in shending/alexis partners, apparently strong enough that she stopped sussing shending after ybw flipped town. did she still think shending/ybw were partners at eod1?
I believe shending asked ishmael some good questions about this at some point, looking forward to seeing the answers

I’m almost circling to t/t jason/ishmael, but like. that kinda just pushes me back into hippo and then I started warming up to hippo today too. perhaps I am just falling into my too active and townreading everyone trap
