ok so i was thinking a lot about how shending admits they’re self-conscious about their play and then i got distracted by reading the game on mu that shending and barwe played together
anyways here’s something interesting i found
so from what i gathered barwe was tunneled on shending that game bc shending was making these big posts that sounded good but didn’t have much content, hence the “posting like a redditor” comment.

i think the underlined doesn’t feel like a real read. Part of it is how it’s worded, part of it is that I doubt there’s like an equivalent of reading into posts centered around activity in irl mafia, which is their background.
I think this post feels like barwe saw his partner being wagoned and decided to throw out a post defending them without really looking deeper into why shending was being pushed, but that feels like a bit of a stretch idk

yeah i think this is a bad wolfcase and barwe coming out strongly to defend shending, saying that “i tunneled him bc of the microanalyzing in our last game, people are scumreading shending for similar reasons this game, here’s why it’s nai” is actually pretty towny

Jason is the towniest person in the game by a long shot, I alrdy had him as V yday from hardaccusing the one (Ash) who was townreading him. Both for the sake of what i said about wolves having more to gain about receiving a townread and not wanting to risk it being withdrawn by lashing out, but also because i felt it came from a towny saltiness of “no damn you, I’m town but you shouldn’t have been able to find me this easily!!”
And then him going through the effort of meta-diving barwe and casing him, into then instantly retracting it and calling it towny. If the case itself sounded fake, I could’ve seen a crazy world where he faked the whole thing to look towny but it just makes sense… both the initial reasoning and then the instant thought that it doesn’t make sense from a wolf PoV (from Barwe)
As for my read on Barwe, I’m squinting a little bit on him arriving into the thread, saying I’ve only said NAI/slightly towny stuff (which indicates he’s read all my posts) with referencing that “I KNOW he posts like a redditor”. Then he later answers Ash who says i don’t sound like a redditor with saying that he’s taking that part back and that he’ll never call me a redditor again. Wut? @Barwe you implied you read all my posts alrdy and gave me the “he’s a redditor its NAI” spiel, then you feel super strongly im NOT this game? There’s something discongruent here and I’m leaning it wolfy?
And the most genuine sounding thing from Barwe so far was his love for Alexis’ posting style and frustration he subbed out, which isn’t AI

Not feeling that from Ish post the opening. It felt like a reaction-test style push on me, which often comes from towns with that type of personality, but the followup feels too tunnely while not rly going into any reasons for me to start wondering if the person (don’t remember who it was rn) who called her play agenda’y was just right. The jury is still out tho
