There's No Freaking Way I'll Be Your Mason! Unless... -- Night 1 (13/14)

Like theyve got 8 posts and you are reading super heavily into super small things when i feel like other people have much wolfier posts?

And even then like

“A townie would attempt to hang a wolf d1”

like yeah duh?? lhf doesnt dven automatically mean town? Nothing snow said actually implied any of the things you are saying it did?

And like yes I understand you are not isoing the people with hundreds of posts
… but like if you seriously thinm you can get such a micro read from 8 imo fairly null posts on a player then ljke. Why not go read 8 of meows posts and then decide from there

I think it’s p likely one of [alexis/youbie, ish, dia] is a wolf

If alexis is a wolf making an early powerwolf play to establish thread control, i think wolves would be more self-conscious of joining the wagon since it was started by a wolf

If alexis is town, I think it’s easy for wolves to just follow his push and jump on bc of how strong it was. If shending is a wolf they get cred, if shending is town most of the blame falls on alexis and not them.

Tldr zenon’s law (kinda)

Why is that wolfy

You are just saying “wow. A wolf would do this. A town wouldnt!” But not actually explaining why, or with the small explanation you did do youre just like… adding stuff that wasnt there

it’s poorly worded
the specific thing i am saying here is that this is the kind of thing you would say in wolf chat and then push agenda for
town do not go for LHF as an Active Thing based exclusively upon the LHF status
it’s usually a shrugyeet or an actual read

will you participate in weak masonizer/investigative cover with me? (insert a there’s no freaking way you’ll do pr cover with me unless joke) it is d1, maybe this is less good d2 if mafia has a rolecop but surely any weak masonizer acts n1 or n2 anyway (is that optimal play?)

like youre going “wow. I read these 8 posts and theyre super wolfy!”

but like irs like the person who only watched boss baby. It seems far more like you went in with the mindset of “i want to push snow” and then isod them and justified ir after

Really dont like that post

see i think we just maybe intrisically disagree here bc like
Have you played any game with a LHF (including yourself, where people were voting you for like doing nothing about a day ago :joy_wolf: )

If i’m a cop i’m visiting ash

this post gave me feelings I don’t know how to articulate and am conflicted on whether this positive or not, I’ll think about it

it’s closer to
“this could go both ways”
i just meant it more so as like. Dismissing the wagon on themselves using this & resolving that they don’t have to deal with it
both townies and wolves do it, townies primarily because they don’t have to like. put in mroe energy, which. is something snow would do i guess
and wolves because it would feel like an easy way to stop a wagon on them

… i kinda lost the plot halfway through and am going to drop that specific thing

those are usually Shrug reasons though?

Why not the discussed suspects? Would you rather greencheck first?

town don’t like. Resolve and go “We Will Kill LHF Huraah” they go “ugh fine i guess we have to kill an LHF”

god i am explaining this poorly

My reasoning is similar to hippo’s, ash has a decent amount of interactions with other slots that we could use to solve off of if he flips w, and i think his slot is also one that would be valuable to keep around if v

reasoning seems sound, I just feel cautious generally about “oh we can let mech resolve this” in case we can’t actually and then we end up with a bunch of the “hard to read” slots at the end that we kicked down the road

maybe this isn’t a d1 concern

I think dia in some later posts I skimmed shared similar worries which I again can see after they came out of their last beatings game with pigeon being pushed constantly to elo before being the miskill to lose

maybe I’m naturally too inclined to townread dia after a few consecutive town dia games but I don’t really sus them that hard yet

I feel like a town is far more likely to go “lets just kill the LHF” while a wolf will find a LHF and then make up reasons to scumread them because no one will have strong opinions to defend them with but those reasons are usually terrible under scrutint and really dont outweigh the wolfiness of other players in comparison and…
hmm this is starting to ring a bell… getting some weird deja vu… unsure why though…

I liked brawe’s damage control defense post & I might be too afraid of his description of shending as strong player if town and not misexed. I am ~townleaning also bc brawe and shending seem to be townreading each other and they have played together before & I want to trust that for d1
