also mafia might want to pr snipe n1, ash claimed non-invest, so lower priority. ybw was unclaimed and pr covering for an invest (on jason…not something I want to read into much though bc I think that would have been a very minor decision factor)
ash claimed a bodyguard with some level of modification. he has said he did not protect the last night and that his doublevote today was caused by something unrelated to his role
willow claimed bg bc she was being wagoned and asked to claim
then ash cc’ed
There’s also a decent chance a mafia has some sort of strongman/ninja ability one-shot as that is pretty standard i find.
So maybe they just knew they could ignore ash for one day and go for someone townread and could be pr. Using one-shot strongman/ninja/whatever n1 is usually the meta.

assuming it’s at most 1 in hippo/snow, you’d think if wolf snow, they would have let willow know it might exist, if wolf hippo, I said earlier it feels very bold
I had a tinfoil earlier snow wasn’t fully aware or communicating w willow, but it’s not that convincing when I think about it more

there is not much a reason to target a bodyguard directly except as a misdirection play imo

you will eventually kill them by accident and if they’re really bad at their jobs you might be able to daykill them
