âThe moon waxes in the world of darkness over the city of angels and the lady of the sea, time has been untouched and isolated from the law and order, lest the chaos overwhelms our minds and lose control of our destiny.â
The sireâŠmy master, this poem itched in me that will serve as end of times for us Kindred, my sire felt drawing near to Gehenna, but this world of darkness is beyond my comprehension. What I feel is that I need to feed with care, Santa Monica is my sanctioned feeding ground and the only vampireâkindredâthat I am aware is the prince that arrived on Santa Monica recently, in some dump of a night club called Asylum or something.
In the corner of my eye, I saw bunch of gangsters were robbing some rich guy to bloody pulp, took his money and what looks like bleach can and wiring attached, I didnât get good look but ahâŠI may as well donât let the blood go to waste. I waited until the gangsters left the scene and so I can take initative.
âWh-who are you!?â Says the person in expensive tailored suit, now battered, torn and bloody.
âOh my gosh! What happened, do I need to call the hospital?â I put convincing body language and the right tone to be concerned about the safety of my soon-will-be-meal.
âTake me to the suite 506 out of the alley to the leftâaaahâŠdonât take me to local hospital.â
The little fly is going to land right into my web, I carry the wounded rich guy with his arm around my shoulder as support and without a care from bystanders from accross the street I entered through the front door of the expensive motel, this suite is on the end of the corridor to the right and to whom I come accross rowdy man wielding a shotgun and license of his professions, something Kilpatrick? Looks like bounty Hunter to me but fortunately heâs not bothered with the meal of mine and put him on the couch.
âMy name is MercurioâI donât look like it but I am actually seventy-two years old.â The guy on the coach said to you. Really? A guy in late twenties is actually seventy-two years old, how did that happen?
âYouâyou gotta bring back whats mine, my boss wonât be happy when he learned that I screwed up.â
âI promise I wonât tell you about it, you seeâŠâ you said this, but before you could finish this â you expose your fangs and before Mercurio could scream for help, you paralyzes him with the fangs found the blood veins by the neck and begin to feed em dry.
My sire wasnât happy either when I killed him by the time I am sated from the thirst, told me about the beast within me shall take matters in itâs hands when I am most vulnerable or in dire need for more blood. Fortunately, the bite marks will dissappear and by the time the human police finds the body will look like he killed himself and the body will be stored in the morque which the Prince of Santa Monica has control there, probably because of blood banksâah I see, thatâs clever indeedâŠ
