Like seriously letās think about this. 545 posts in, Iāve given several town reads and then proceeded to press in several directions in novel ways that have clearly agitated (ie excited/caused movement) the thread and led to new directions. I am, regardless of my alignment, someone who is moving and shaking the thread and trying to allow ideas and perspectives to flourish. sure this is in my wolf range, iām always going to be that guy, but to claim it is solely in my wolf range is a take beneath you. if youāre big mad I voted for you, realize if hippo is a wolf then this only serves to give him rope to hang himself. If youāre town, realize that if I am a wolf I am exposing myself given if you flip town and I have noted in thread I can read you that I have to explain that away instead of simply placating you.
Iām just jotting down notes at this point and shaking people down for their lunch money, I have no idea what other than a head injury could make you think this is a wolf only line for me tbh.

i think its very easy to explain away your vote on a player you traditionally read well as wolf. just going āI wouldve tmid themā (veiled in prettier words) explains away that sentiment, this is a level 0 reason to town read someone (for pushing someone they read well) and i think it would be disengenous of me to pretend as though you cant do that as wolf. its not very difficult. i dislike your framing of that as something you couldnt do as wolf - you read almost everyone on FoL pretty well, you have to push players you read well and thats part of the game

true but boring. itās an inoffensive way of getting the play across but i think itās very slightly a wolfy angle of dissuading the mech. I donāt like talking about mech because this is a game where the mafiateam is not able to strategize, and by solidifying the patterns of theory that weāre working with we are giving them more information and also i find it boring. You donāt like it because you think itās necessarily a distraction (which is also a very handwavy thing. you need to know where to look, which in practice people donāt so ~fair). Iām also a bit ehh on the re-iterating of reads here especially what with the lost wolf thing itās the sort of signaling i would expect for a wolf here just on a subtle level. Donāt think about that one too much

ok new take thereās a sort of thought-terminatingness in the brevity here , I think frostās logic does seem somewhat uninspired but itās kind of just like not trying to improve on reading frost but just kind of accepting that you canāt in a kind of odd way that sets you up for whatever you want to do with the slot later, or if partnered itās a good way to say you think heās wolf without taking any responsibility.
