VOTE: soweli
The point was that you dont have a solid reason & i cant do anything about that, i was expecting more
Whyd you ask me this what does it tell you
It piqued my curiosity while I was reading
Actually, I think I know a way we can figure out who the wolves are
Every mentally capable person on earth is teleported into a room, alone, with no way to contact anybody else. In front of you are two buttons. One blue, one red.
If a majority of living people press the blue button, everyone who pushes a button lives
If a majority of living people press the red button, everyone who pressed the red button lives
Would you press the blue button or the red button?
Because I didnāt get the vibe that either of the two were wolves from my interactions and my read through
Why
Anyway, blue button
I like the phrasing that makes it so not pushing a button kills you
Boring!

Always have been
Acting as if the question has one answer proves either philosophical immaturity or an admirable certainty in oneās moral code that is indistinguishable at a glance from that immaturity.
i think proobably blue?
i mean itās a voting situation so your own choice only has a marginal effect on the total outcome & you can convince yourself red is better by looking at the outcomes but also presumably there are some people picking blue and not a majority necessarily picking red which are the theoretical conditions for making blue the better* choice
but this also probably does change based on how much you value your own life
9ne option could potentially kill people and the other dont. Yes weād all be safe if we all hit red, but we are t all hitting eed, bc im hitting blue for one, and if even like one person hits blue then everyone should hit blue
itās just that the optimum points are at ānobody picks the blue buttonā and āover 50% of people pick the blue buttonā.
if youāre informed on everybody elseās results, you donāt pick blue if it will mean thereās not a majority voting blue.
but in reality youāre not so then you have to factor in how you think everybody else is going to vote (and your valuations of the outcomes) and theyāre also probably metagaming it too.
Game theory wise, hitting red is optimal you always live
Morally, blue is better because it is the altruistic choice that results in everyone living
itās only optimal if youāre optimizing for your own survival
Yeah exactly
And if blue loses, then well
Good riddance, Iād rather not live in a world where red wins
