f you want to cherry pick definitions and invalidate my preferences thatās cool too, i can see how it hurts you that i have a (fake) preference to be referred by name and all
im being snarky but i donāt post here enough to actually care that much, but it is a concerning precedent imo

i think word match 7 will be a game where arctic matches people to a set of pronouns and the staff will unassign pronouns from anyone whose pronouns differ to what pronouns arctic decided fits them arbitrarily as they are fake by his word

Iām anti-noun.
I hate all nouns.
This is why I use pronouns: I get to minimize the number of nouns I say.
i dont get whats a concerning precedent
a name isnt a pronoun thats like the point of a pronoun lmao; im not cherrypicking anything. you can have a preference to be referred to by your name but that doesnt mean it goes in the section specifically for pronouns
to be clear you having that didnāt actually bother me the part that bothers me is mine getting reset when i set it to something that wasnāt a pronoun while yours existed

yes strictly by definition a name isnāt a pronoun
if in actuality my preferred pronouns are the absence of them then what are my preferred pronouns for the sake of this box? i think you could make a good faith argument that ākatzeā isnāt really the appropriate input there, and i would be blatantly lying if i said it wasnāt set to that partially because i think itās funny, but likeā¦ whatās the alternative?
should i set my pronouns to āno pronounsā? i think that looks clunky, and so would anything longer than thatā¦ if i want something short then my options are like. āMy nameā which i think looks shockingly less serious than my name does when itās katze 3 times or āNameā which could plausibly work but i find it likely to cause more confusion than anything
to be fair though i think the policy with pronouns is pretty silly as is, if the staff intend on being strict about what is or isnāt a real pronoun then just add a dropdown box and people who have preferences outside of it can hit up an admin to get it added. which is what we had before and it was changed for probably good reasons, although i donāt really remember exactly what they were despite me probably being staff at the time lol edit: the authorities have informed me that i am misremembering this and that this was never a thing which i guess explains why i dont remember why they werent changed 
just my two cents tho. if someone isnāt being actively malicious or offensive then i dont know why the staff should care
unless my approach to pronouns is seen as malicious and/or offensive in which case i refer back to the first half of this post or something idk im surprised i cared enough to even write this

imo itās fine for someone who sincerely prefers that people use their name instead of pronouns to put that in the pronouns field even though itās not actually a pronoun
although the fact that katze is, uh, openly doing it as a bit is Not Ideal, I see the argument for wiping them in her case
