I can see how you’d get the impression that it’s cut-and-paste but like it’s the very particular set of patterns you have which encompass your entire “body of work” here, so to speak. I think my initial read considered literally every piece of information I had about you at the time.

The thing I don’t think I’ve fully taken into account is the way you (RetrogradeDusk) have reacted to it, so I’m going to think about that now. I appreciate the sense of confidence and sturdiness to the way you’ve taken the read, and I’d definitely townread it from a typical FoL bottom, but from my impression of your personality, that is not especially you, so I don’t feel it’s something that’s… out of my impression of your wolfrange, from my very passing familiarity.
You haven’t shown any hesitance about being perceived as OMGUSing, just going “I think your read is bad and I don’t think you believe it”, also appreciated, also something I “townread in theory”. Taken in isolation, I think your response is decent, but it’s not one that makes me start reading you as town, just doesn’t make me wolfread you further.
It doesn’t take that much courage to be able to stare down the barrel of a gun the way you have, especially a first-wolfread-of-D1 gun that doesn’t actually pose much of a threat at all, and it’s the kind of strategy I think I’d immediately apply on my first game on a site if I were a wolf.
There’s also something about the way you’re reading me for my suspicion here that feels… like it doesn’t add up. If I were you, I think I’d look at my own behaviour as wolfy, if that makes sense. Your only posts were “I was going to make this joke, but didn’t” and then a question you never followed up on, claiming that doesn’t warrant calling you wolfy feels… biased, it feels like you’re arguing against being executed rather than saying what you believe. That can come from town, but it’s >rand wolf.
I think I want to sit on how I feel about this for a little while, since I’m not feeling super strongly one way or another. My gut keeps telling me it’s a wolf’s response, my consistently-applied-principles would tell me it’s towny. I think I’m slowly starting to piece out why I think it’s wolfy? I’m going to do some work and get to bed.
I’d appreciate other people’s thoughts on RetrogradeDusk’s posts and alignment, I’m coming at this from a point of bias as one of the involved parties, so additional perspective would be appreciated, and I think it’s a reasonable area of focus, it’s one of the more AI parts of the game at this point IMO.

Well IMO bys always has this kind of energy town or wolf and often gets unrighteously townread for it. But I think she’s towny for other reasons
