To me, “opening” means “first post”, so your (RetrogradeDusk’s) behaviour made, like, no sense in my mind. Now that I know you were talking about Hippo’s later-but-still-early posts, your behaviour does make sense and I don’t find you nearly as wolfy.
I still think your focus is a bit… like you’re fighting a war, like you know what the sides are. You feel entrenched, you feel stable and static, you’re here primarily to bat down my arguments and make your own against me in turn, it’s got a little tinge of being informed. But this can also just be a playstyle thing, and I don’t know you well enough to make the call either way. As you can see, my playstyle involves a lot of long walls of hedging, I’m kind of hte polar opposite here.

The first time I played on MU I stressed myself out so bad I walked into traffic by accident because I forgot you’re not supposed to go in front of moving cars and then misvoted in F3. The second time I played on MU I got misexecuted for being obvMay and also suspecting wolves. I haven’t played there since

I was one of the MU OGs all the way back in 2015. I forgot my games then
Recently my games were fineish. Nothing too wild happened. The abrasiveness in mashes is too much for me I’m not playing another one. Turbos stress me out too, a tad too abrasive too for my liking. My Champs game was miserable but spec chat loved me. The normal games are probably the best bet to play on MU (imo). And just be selective with the playerlist. All kinds of different people, some exhausting to deal with, some very fun and entertaining

(This was at the point where I played wolf by memoryholing my own alignment and in this incident, despite being town, I got super stressed convincing myself I was actually a wolf forgetting that fact, because the nightkills were super weird and htere was only one wolf left and I keptgoing “what if I’m the wolf and I accidentally let the nightkill rand”)

(And overall being afraid that my own memory was unreliable kind of sent me into a paranoid spiral about what if I’m hallucinating my own rolecard though which was quite unpleasant)
If its any consolation ive done the exact same, i was hitting on a girl back in my first uni and i thought it was going well but then i messed up and she rejected me and i got so zoned out i crossed a street carelessly and a car slammed its breaks and i could see the driver yelling and flailing from the windshield and i just kept walking i felt nothing hahah
