What brought about the comment about May playing to avoid getting NK’d?
How much of your suspicion was genuine?
Why would you assume that’s what May was doing when May hasn’t said a word about that, not really.
i am being accused but only by one person
it’s not that i’m trying to project a towny mindset but rather i just have that mindset and i have been struggling to act on it or reach conclusions due to how unreadable this game is and the fact no one has ever felt overtly wolfy, like usually at some point in the game i’d be able to point to some people and get an easy wolf in one of them and say i “i doubt i am being snowed by 3 players so blah blah blah has a wolf in it” when i townread everyone else but that’s kinda not how it feels here
not in the sense of even townreading everyone else necessarily but just the people who i know aren’t really acting out of the ordinary
because of this i feel inclined to fall back on basic principles that tell me the game has had wolves pushing the narrative to at least some extent, among the higher influence players. do you disagree?

I hate that I am lowkey TR-ing low posters because I have such low expectations that when they actually play, I think they might be town.
Some posts from low posters resonate with me, and I go “huh okay”
And then I have high expectations of the high posters and it’s giving me paranoia

like based on how the game has gone, yeah, but i’m not sure ppl just plan to play like that as w/w generally
in the sense of retro pushing may on and off from the start of the game beginning when he was a consensus townread and then cashing out on it when people decide may has overstayed his welcome
i do not really understand where the confidence is coming from, but unless they are wolves together i don’t really think black cat would be asking people to get their votes off of May when the obvious alternative is that they die instead
but it is possible to be a last ditched attempt on eaves if may and blackcat are both wolves
