they don’t usually break easily at all, it’s just that people usually fill them full of useless junk that slows them down

Status: Nearly finished D1 Guard. Forgot about D2 Merchant. I’ll check out D2 Guard and maybe D2 Merchant again. I remember Merchant interacted with Coven Leader, but I forgot about everything else. Might need a recap again soon.

D1 Guard fleshed out more of the world, though it does leave me confused why there are two factions to begin with between the Guards and the Guild. The Guild is essentially the one who gets fund from the capitol, but what is the origin of the Guards? The latter is more competent and attent than the former, and the guilds members are ruder than the guards, but why not group 'em together anyway?

Like, the coven / sisterhood were born out of necessity of tonics, water management, [REDACTED], and uh… presumably literal witchery, so them being a separate faction is understandable. But the guild and the guards both protect the place… right? Unless, the guild is more akin to the management and the guards are the functional protector? (…yeah, that sounds about right.)

A… ha. And when casualties appeared, the late guild leader opened the gates for merchants and mercenaries to fill up the numbers… was it? (Ze pagans enturred ze plaes as mercs, yez.)

…interesting. (And then… well. Patricide.) ((4th time! This time, we got to see what happened to the one who got exiled!)) (Ye. He wanted to return so badly…) ((F.))

What matters is: The guild is currently the faction with the most power. They fund the town, and thereby also the weaponry. If water is lacking, then… most likely… (Take by force.) If people are lacking, then… (Mercs.) One thing the son isn’t taking account to though, is the unrest of the citizens. If they revolt, then… what’s next? (Call reinforcements. Capitol does not waste money. Land reclamation, important. Rebellion, punish.)

…if we ever get that far, then I’d be shocked at my level of foresight. Though, most likely… the church will get established first. (Coven and pagan. Strife, appear.) Yeah… it’ll be a mess. If a strife appears, then all will end sour. Even if coven and pagans win, then the capitol will simply retaliate further. ((Mediator required. Either merchants or new guild leader.))

Mmn. Well, I suppose that’s enough speculation for now. After all, this is only “two days’ worth” of data. (D3 Merchant will not be present.) ((D2 Guild is missing as well. Unsure whether it’s due to planning or whether it will come in due time.))
