I used to dislike beets, tomatos, mushrooms, but i think i like everything now. Ive acquired taste for everything

Play a different game with simpler rules like a d6 system or whatever. You donât want to try hack D&D to not require research because Iâm not sure youâre left with much of a game after that
im being perceived
yeah if youâre not interested specifically in numerical systems and lots of rules, donât play dnd. by the description given, you could just do freeform rp tbqh, or something very rules-lite
Ive never tried it

One of my TTRPG groups is starting up a new Star Wars RPG campaign and Iâm excited. We played a one-shot of the system a couple of months ago and the system seemed pretty cool.
Just run 5e
Youâre already making up half the rulings anyway

bleh. just good enough to where retaking might be a sunk cost but not good enough to feel 100% confident. Whatever, I will think on it

my brain is such a good alarm clock i tell it i want to wake up at 8:30 and instead it wakes up at 7:30 because it integrated with my task-checking system and i still have homework to do.
Theyâve already made 1999 Twilight films? I havenât even seen any of them
DnD conversation is reminding me that I need to make up my mind on whether Iâm running a campaign for this + next semester.
the train that was honking for like 10 minutes at 7:30 this morning is such a good alarm system
Our TTRPG club is holding a sorting ceremony on March 7th (this is a month later than they really shouldâve because they went through a whole internal power struggle), where you get up on stage and pitch to people why they should join your campaign.
In preparation for that, Iâd need a presentation to try and pitch to people that they should join my thing.
Which also demands that I figure out what I should run.
Which likely demands that I figure out how to create an idea thatâs not, âWhat if we run two concurrent campaigns that feed into each other through time shenanigans?â
