It’s also explicitly supposed to be driven by the narrative. The DM rolls at the beginning of each session, and based on the outcome of that roll determines if someone’s baggage is going to come up that session and who it’s going to be. If it does, each member of the party’s mental health threshold goes down by 1 and if it’s your bullshit that’s coming up, it goes down by 2. It all sounds super neat to me.
