gwah
i love daggerheart omggggggg
min!!!
woah thatās a slug just like me!! just perfect :D
ive played these kinds of pve custom ability rpgs like the ones ran on misc for so long
gl with it, the biggest barrier was always making interesting monsters to fight at a consistent rate
yea
i have definitely soured on 3.5e as well now that i have actually played pf2e
happy chomps day!!!
the big selling point of 3.5e was āhas actual customizationā (that 5e doesnāt have) but ill be frank it has Too Much customization
pf2e does what 5e does and then adds all the things i like so like
as it happens it feels good to have your character do Your Character Things in combat rather than what 5e does (every single character of a specific class is the exact same. subclasses do not make a meaningful enough difference)
and iām also the type of girlie to base her character on her class rather than the other way around and then have it evolve from there which means that pf2e Actually Adding New Classes is goated for me rather than 5eās Exactly 2 Non-Base Classes
3.5e mainly largely stems from having player and enemy statblock creation use the same template
So, many prestige classes and such are just, fully only intended for enemies, but players can just Have Them because why not.
That and the untested shit lmao
well no its because their business model was Mountains Of Books, 60$ each
but yea
I mean yes but also thats just how it goes, itās not that different for 5e or pf2e
no 5e is different because the books they sell are Adventure Paths
A lot of 3.5 stuff is also in like, random ass magazines
and pf2e hasnāt had enough time to stew to have the mountains that 3.5 has
ā¦have they even done any APs lately I do not know this
okay fair that one is stupid
fuck if i know
the most recent thing i heard about was the 5.5e things they tried and failed
My Straight/American spell: Gun
Their last AP is Vecna Fall of Eve from 2024 according to google
