It’s super, super easy to start a rumour online and have it circulate. Posting on an anonymous account on social media is the easiest way but it’s much better to pass it along to someone else who is actually willing to spread it or have an emotional response evoked by whatever evidence it is I’ve managed to dig up.

I contract based on a flat fee + hourly, and also have an additional charge based on outcome too
It largely varies client to client because people like to haggle and know they might not get anything out of it.
I walk away with my flat fee & hourly rate and the client walks away disappointed.
