how this thought occured to me

Summary
  • this floor is dusty
  • i remember the closet being dusty too when i hid in it
  • thinking “if i could hide from someone (jokingly) here where would i hide”
  • there’s not really that many hiding places
  • most hiding spaces make noise
  • one of the bathroom cupboards i might be able to fit into
  • or the oven
  • if i hide in the oven i probably won’t get found
  • if i hide in the oven i’d probably eventually get burnt alive and nobody would hear me
  • do ovens open from the inside

Summary

my idea was malicious action in burning me alive but it does occur to me that it can’t really be accidental because you’d have to open the oven to put food in

My Law final studying informs me that in the US, an oven-maker has no legal obligation to ensure you can get out of an oven if you get stuck inside one (see Daniell v. Ford Motor Co).

id agree on a wider scale, though im unsure if i would ever choose to eat meat even if it was gained “ethically” (according to my own standards)

when i was in the hospital i remember multiple times i had to request vegetarian meals and they gave me ones with meat
and logically, i should just eat those, bc they were gonna be thrown out anyway and i dont think food should go to waste
but i just couldnt bring myself to
so it ends up being one of those things rhat while i agree wjth it and think that way, my brain is also just “meat bad >:(”
