like far far far better than I could have hoped for considering it would have been so easy to just do the same thing again
the fact they didnāt just retread the exact same ground and try to beg for attention by ramping up the violence or something is a MASSIVE credit to the writers because it would have been SO EASY to do
really I think the biggest mistake Squid Game 2 made was not just waiting a few more months and releasing 2 and 3 as one season
because fundamentally they are one season, so as of right now we have a bunch of incomplete story threads that seem pointless because they ādidnāt go anywhereā when really they just got cut off midway through going somewhere for a few month break

also thinking the season with Choi Woo-seok, Thanos, Jang Geum-ja, Hwang In-ho, and Cho Hyun-ju has āno likable charactersā is crazy
like sure thereās no direct Kang Sae-byeok equivalent to steal the show again but frankly I doubt it would have been good if they tried to replace her directly anyways lol
