I think it depends on the timing, three relationships that start and end in the span of a year is a lot (assuming your bar for what counts as ‘dating’ is high enough to exclude, like, ‘met on a dating app and went on a couple dates’) but if you break up with someone in January, date someone else for a few months from April to August, and then start a new relationship in December, that’s not necessarily a lot
