I think it stems from the same fear i had in more close knit classes in HS where everybody knew eachother even tho i shouldnt care thst much bc its a lecture hall and i know literally 0 people in it

I did sit in the back of one clas last semester and id basically just play ADOFAI or slay the spire the entire time lmao

I don’t get the fundamental Fear so many people express of hypothetical silent unexpressed judgement from people they’ll never meet. It makes so many people voluntarily suffer immensely for no reason. I get fearing for your friends’ opinions, it affects your life, but strangers?
