you can just open tabs when you need those tabs and then close them when you no longer need those tabs

A few of them are daily puzzles, I don’t want to look for the links daily…
there are some idle games in the mix, which only notify me on progress, when the tab is open.
some social network stuff, so I can see immedatiatly, when I am pinged (one of them is fortressoflies)
and some things which goes in the background (like youtube)
(and a bunch of job-listing portals…)
I regularly use 90% of these tabs. You underestimate how sidetracked I can get.
i usually have around 10 tabs. its enough to fill up my screen without squishing down the tab button
its a compromise between utility (i dont want to constantly open and close stuff) and … another utility (ability to read and click on tabs. i cant read, nor, click, what the tab is, if its just a small squished square)
Found note left behind by Stiorra, she went deeper, but left her supplies behind for some reason. Dane mentioned cave-in. ((Must’ve been a DM thing then.)) Adjudicator speech about sulfur mine, walked further, encountered second fork. Got nudged by DM to be closer to the group and lead them. [Adjudicator died at cave-in, crossed wooden beams, got attacked by dreadwalkers while climbing up.]
Tom got arm injury, so he got the DMs to roll dice to check how he fared climbing the knotted rope. It worked out with the help of Dr. Robin and Rue. Arm got dislocated, relocated with Dr. Robin’s aid. First respite, treated by Rue. Lilithy got a scar across her face.
[Squid game platforming.] Second respite / short rest. One of the guildsmen came to the fort because his sister Cassandre / Cassandra was there. [Sulphur gas, maze, exit at high ground, reconvene with Dane’s group, Stiorra’s summon.] Asked DM if Tom recognized anything. Long answer short: No.
…hang on, now I am interested in this idea. I really need to get back to designing setups again. (…then again, my Special-category FMs don’t get enough players nowadays. I wonder if it is even worth my time.)

Oh you see i dont read what the tab is i just always put things in a specific order or i just memorize the location (relative) so yay sorry atlas i need them bc then i’ll forget what i need

This is a good idea in a mash, but in a regular FM, not so much…
Also in hosting point of view, you are better off hosting 6 different games (with 6 different end-goals), than hosh-pudging 6 games having the same (or very similar) end-results.
just compare the sign-up rate of “30” (a hosh-pudge) and the group of “minority rule blind”, “number poker” and “blind poker” (realistically I could fit any of them inside 30, [and that was the original plan, tbh])

Boss fight. Sir Tom went down the same path as Dane, distracting the boss and killing the mobs so Roland, Oliver, and others can blow up the ropes / metal grid that is holding the stalactites.
Asked Stiorra what she tried to do, something about veils and connecting worlds. Brief chat with Eliza. Witnessed Stiorra’s purification ritual on the heart piece, wondered what the fire was. Got shown the heart piece by Gwen.
Sat alone in the corner, adrenaline dissipated, hidden wound, no strength to call for help, bleeding a lot. Arturo noticed Tom, and brought Dr. Robin and Rue to him, closing the wound with bandages. Tom will be fine, but huge movements would risk opening the wound.
Mine cave-in, Gwen swallowed by earth, exit mine, end of session.
I guess now is a good time as any to check out POV1. Time to see what Dane’s group was up to.
Hm… Fair enough. IMO [30] was fun, but it didn’t gain enough players for anyone to actually win the entire thing.
