well you see he obviously uhhh installed a button and pressed it while live on stream and there was this other time where he stopped mid sentence and he was clearly about to say shock collar uhhhh

I watched the clips, when he noticed Kaya is about to head off his bed, Hasan moves his hand deliberatedly to his right and suddenly Kaya strongly yelps in pain, Hasan doesn’t get to reassure or anything just complains and Kaya just sits back morosely.
It’s really hard for me not to grimace

like sure he could’ve done it but there is literally no evidence that the dog didn’t just get caught on the bed and i think occam’s razor suggests an obvious answer here

well you see there’s only one reason why dogs ever yelp. if your dog has ever yelped it’s because someone activated their shock collar

Unfortunately it’s all speculation, we don’t know if Kaya’s shiny collar is even of the electric sort or whenever he was shocked. Hasan explained later off-handedly that he tripped or clipped on something.
Even with that, I’m really sensitive to my bunny, if she’d yelp I think I’d quickly rush to her to see if she’s physically fine, he doesn’t do anything.

By any case, I suggest to watch the clip to tell for yourself. Kaya does yelp really loudly for unexplained reason.
i do think that if he’s going to own a dog he could stand to care for it a bit more. but being slightly neglectful towards your dog does not crack the top 50 worst things twitch streamers have done to their pets

Hurting an animal in real time, repeatedly, in front of tens of thousands of people is just thunderously stupid so I’ve been somewhat skeptical since I heard about it. I’ve also seen Kaya walk off stream before, so it never even made sense to begin with.

i just haven’t seen any evidence its a shock collar specifically. This seems like a very much “people who hate hasan spreading this as fact because they hate him” which no shade seems like what daeron is doing

i think it is generally in good form to, without compelling evidence otherwise, go with the theory that does not involve someone being cartoonishly evil

but even if it wasn’t there’s the question 1. why wouldn’t you check on it and 2. if it isn’t why wouldn’t you just prove it by taking the collar off and showing it in real time
