Despite not being religious I’ve been heavily using the devil and god metaphors and stuff when speaking lately, got to learn how to make the religious people laugh

I used to identify as a satanist for a while unironically. I wonder if i should get back into it

My most accurate game so far. Only 750 elo atm. I forgot almost all openings. I need to get an arsenal of openings and i think im decent after that

tbh i enver learned openings and i was like 1400 rating at peak, i think openings are kind of a noob trap but theyre not bad to know

openings are good to understand so you know why the work and can apply that to other situations but like if ur sub1k you do not need to know 35 lines of opening theory your opponent probably knows 3-4 max so your 35 lines of book become useless

i agree, but i feel like players who are sub1k or around there focus on learning openings as opposed to learning the game, and so they can play a great first 10 moves. and then the midgame comes and their pawns get fucked and they blunder their pieces

its like, not gonna hurt performance or anything, its just not where id put my focus on learning the game towards until a bit later
