I watched The Long Walk today. Pirated because i just dont live close enough to somewhere showing it.
It was good, I had also read the book, spoilers for both

I liked the changes from the book, mostly. McVries being the winner in this version was unexpected but way better in hindsight, he was really the main/best character of this one. I liked the acting and the lighting generally.
my only criticism is that they didnât seem tired enough at the end. Whereas that was a big sell of the book for me was how fucking exhausting everything felt. Also I think the ending wouldâve been better if McVries asked for the gun as his reward and it cut to black. I just think thatâd go harder but they probably test screened it and people didnt get it. Still a better ending than the book. I kinda think stephen king sucks at endings and film adaptations sometimes correct it. This is such a case
