if you’re nice to the kids and you become the cool guy for them social interactions will be fine
if you can’t sell competing in a high-level tournament for a social deduction game as being something cool, that feels like a delivery problem not a content problem tbh
Not really. From experience, a lot of people just don’t really care about things that aren’t intrinsically academic or money-making.
The solution is that Tutuu should make up an amount he’s in contention to win or something.
Normal people talk about jobs and family and achievements and share stories about their kids. Im not competing in a high level tournament, im in the top 15 out of 135 attendees, many of whom being complete beginners at the game. There is no monetary reward. Its fun but its not cool for anyone but nerds. Its a game, its not an actual e-sport
i’ll donate 30 dollars to malaria nets if tutuu wins so he can say he’s playing for charity
where does that money go if he loses? You guessed it. The IDF. So clutch up 22 or else
wtf tutuu toxic and unhumble? reporting…
My niece is so adorable. Shes a little angel. I didnt know people could be this small. She will be short just like her mom. Miniature sized human
Yeah.
I’ve played like at least 30 games at this point (just going off of a quick scroll through my Google Sheets page) and I still suck ass.
Stop implying that the only people who suck are people who just started playing.
do you think they would respect it more if it was an “official e-sport”?
fme most people wouldn’t care much more either way
also highkey those 135 attendees represent a much larger underlying pool of players that ran for rep slots
highkey it is not hard to sell champs as being something cool because fundamentally it is cool to be skilled enough at something to do well in competition
i’ll match
60 USD to malaria nets
it’s all on you 22
fuck it i’ll match too
much larger? i ran unopposed
eh sure im down to match
120 to malaria nets
some communities have no other candidates
some have a lot (MU, for example
)
