Went to tavern to drink. James Hikes was hired by the tavern to work part-time, it seems. Mercs held drinkingā¦ āgatheringā. Stiorra chugged mug. [Tetch and Oliver sung a shanty(?).] [Declan debate with Theo about Gwenās ābetrayalā.]
Dahlia massaged Tetchās back. It was crunchy, as tension was all over his body. Roland proposed to have a special place for Tetch at the merc building.
ā¦ah. When Declan was going for food/drink and got told that Iskra was changing, that was her removing her make up. Nathaniel was talking with Jocelyn. Vinitrine was trying to get Dr. Finley to dance with her.
Mercs held drinking contest. Vaan down. Benny threw up. Haldvar lost standing. Lumi messed up her dress. (Not sure if Joshua and Mr. Thorn participated or not.) Tetch and Oliver sung an old Scottish song, ((Iām fairly certain this is the one Elizaās actor heard,)) and drank straight from a literal bucket. Oliver -the Town Drunk- won.
TIL āgortaā is a Scots Gaelic word.
So I looked up what āan gorta prataiā meant.
According to Google, it means āthe potato famineā. (Iām not sure whether this is accurate or not, but gorta definitely means famine.)

Tetch barfed on his clothes, so he removed them. Monsieur Albert announced the pole climbing contest. Bracken climbed first. Elliot appeared in dress. Contest over. Stiorra still wanted to climb. Tetch sat on northern(?) wall. ((Actor asked to have Tetch go missing while drunk, but was not allowed because it wouldnāt flow well with the story.)) Tetch accompanied by Roland.
Talked about dying on fort. Talked about his secret about being born a woman, yet living as a man. (Breast covered with cloth/sarashi.) Only other person whom Tetch shared this secret with died weeks ago. Roland took it well. To him, everyone in the fort was his family. ((I meanā¦ to be fair, whoever goes to this fort will most likely never go back to the north, save for few individuals like the adjudicator anyway.))

Roland asked Tetch (for a friend, i.e., Lumi) how proposal works. (Vaan proposed to Lumi and Lumi said yes.) Marriage was allowed at the fort, but uhā¦ Itās complicated, considering mortality rate in the fort and the need to outweigh lives.
Dahlia took Roland to talk about something, so Tetch yelled at Dahlia, which in turn made Theo angry. ((Especially since she got dumped by Dane at Nocturna.))
Mercenary meeting at tavern table instead of meeting room. Northern gathering, preparing to go south (but not going south). Oliver (and Hikes and the vagabonds) not present at meeting. Contracts -involving southern missions- starting E12 will be raised to 8 pcs per mission.
Talk with Vaan. Same question as Lumi: āIf the other is bleeding outside, will you leave your s.o. to die?ā Lumi had immediately said okay, and Vaan took a bit longer before saying yes. Tetch was happy for the two of them. ((Makes sense. Fort priority above love, because this is a matter involving multiple lives, even if only hypothetical for the time being. No hard feelings.))
