psure thats just an ESL moment and the intended delivery was closer to âonce you look it over it becomes readily apparent what the pattern is without needing to check every single exampleâ
from experience, non-native english speakers tend to use the word âobviousâ in significantly more contexts than would be deemed socially acceptable in everyday conversation - i think the connotations of the word probably arenât readily apparent to somebody who hasnât grown up speaking the language their whole life

hereâs one of my favorite examples lmao
the all-caps âOBVIOUSLYâ comes off as insanely rude and I was deffo a bit put off by it but i showed up and the same guy checked me in and he just said the word a lot and didnât mean anything by it
