Do I give the more truthful ā€œI’m a lawful fuck, and as such really don’t like corruptionā€

Or do I give the ā€œI would sell my soul for a cornchipā€

I chose the 1b

oh i forgot the ā€œno amount of money would make me corruptā€ option whoops

Being a lawful neutral warlock is tough business :pensive:

what is the definition of ā€œcorruptā€

up to the reader’s interpertation (idk betray your moral principles?)

when i worked as a hotel receptionist a client brought an escort (illegal). he looked like an important businessman. he had a goon with him that bribed me with $5. i was smiling ear to ear. i was full of happiness

That is a good point

There is a non-zero amount of

ā€œI am, at all times, more than willing to spend money to make a problem go away.ā€

I just prefer that it is done through legal and generally ethical methods.

but like to what extent?

one of my moral principles is ā€œnot eating meatā€
if i eat meat once, do i become corrupt? i would do that for a decent amount of money

one of my moral principles is also ā€œdont kill peopleā€
the price to kill someone is definitely a lot higher

uhhh I didn’t really envisage this when I posed the question; I’d probably say about the level of ā€œintentionally causing significant but indirect harm to people when you could have easily done otherwiseā€ give or take

like politician kind of but not necessarily

Yeah, that falls under ā€œI simply would not betray my moral principlesā€

If I can easily just not

I won’t

could you give an example most people could agree on being ā€œbetraying moralsā€

Let’s say you legally own a lake (don’t question it) and there are people who get fish from there to eat/sell to make money

Big oil offers you (X) amount of money to let them dump their oil in the water, which would kill all the fish

Though that’s generally on the larger scale?
I’d also generally posit like:

You run a form where people all tell you who their crushes are and they give advice or smth? You keep track of all the data for uh… improvement? but assure your clients it’s confidential. Somebody pays you (X) amount of money to tell them who has a crush on them. on the lower end

(uh idk why I jumped to crushes especially when you’re aromantic feel free to replace with enemies/people they have secrets about or smth?)

(I’m kind of bad at making situations)
