Look if someone you barely know gives you a job recommendation, and the contact for the job is a stranger whose plan is to have all the power and leverage at the end of it, but promises to pay you afterwards, you’re gonna get double crossed. You’re either not getting paid or, more likely, a loose end to be tied up via violence.

It’s not a d20 exclusive issue.
It’s the general fault for any percentage style system. (Even if you change the d20 i to a coinflip, it will just change the changed from 5% intervals to 50 % intervals)
The alternative (the either you do or you don’t) isn’t really appealing for most of the roleplayers.

i remember using my elbows a lot to try to block/shove into blows in fights but i noticed that makes me suuuper short ranged which is kinda tough for. everything else.
