This is also the reason why I stopped going on there, like I really loved like some youtubers reading like maybe r/revenge or /insaneparents stories but at some point I found areas where everyone looks so vitriolic and insistent on gatchas and clowning.
Maybe I’m not neccessarily way beyond that, but it’s fatiguing, y’all are adults.

I agree with gray that’s not really secluded to Reddit, but there’s definetly apps that just foster that behavior and letting it rot like that. I’m just happy with Discord and that I can pick and choose my communities, better tight knit than too much of an open space.

I think people choose to stay resentful and not plop away from that it’s because anger, in spite of being a negative emotion, it’s really really good at keeping you entertained, away from boredom, it stimulates you more quickly.

Yeah, but a proof in Lean for disproving the Collatz conjecture made by AI was later found to rely on a bug in Lean. It still has to be verified.
