(the internet informs me that this is actually a translation artifact, and that in the original Japanese, the Octagon [location] is using an English loanword, so this question was actually Hajime going “what is an オクタゴン (okutagon, octagon) … ah, it’s a 八角形 (hachikakukei, octagon (lit. eight-angled shape))”

fact check: apparently the correct answer choice in Japanese DR2-4 is technically written as “8角形” rather than “八角形” (this is the same thing, except with an 8 instead of the kanji that means 8)
