okay see i agree with this for the first game but lowkey the second one was genuinely pretty good
not life-changing or anything but like the first case was the weakest and aside from that it was genuinely pretty solid almost the entire way through

First game is rough around the edges, the second one yeah itâs great
cases 2, 3, and 5/6 all had some really cool reveals and solid moments and were fun to put together the pieces for
1 and 4 were weaker but like still leagues better than 1âs weakest cases lol
i have some criticisms and nitpicks but on the whole that was a solid, well-done mystery game and Iâm glad I played it
oh but fuck the minigames tho thatâs like -2 points out of 10 xdd

lowkey if you just made literally everything a standard debate the game would be better, zero of the other minigames that make you do extra shit add any real value and a lot of them literally just waste time to get to something you already know
unapologetically played on the easiest action difficulty because fuck that noise

I do think the games would benefit more from having a pre-set difficulty ahead of time and on harder difficulties you pick up more info than you actually need
the game very much handholds you with âthis isnât importantâ on stuff that doesnât matter and you will end up using pretty much every info bit you get once and exactly once
well-crafted red herrings would do a lot more to make the game harder than âhere you have 5 extra truth bullets to pick from but none of them can really mislead you meaningfullyâ ykwim

it was a cool setup but i think the answer was unsatisfying in a way that 2-2 and 2-3 were very much not

its still a strong case imo but the game does kinda just give u the âanswerâ for free a lot earlier and easier than 2-2 or 2-3 and thats a shame
also having finished the game I will defend 2-3 to the ends of the earth
i think it was really solid setup, really solid execution, and with the game completed makes a lot more sense than it did at the time in literally every possible way - like congrats, you have successfully taken my lingering doubts about the case and they were actually foreshadowing the whole time gfg no notes
