ibuki is… a character squarely of her time in a similar way to how celeste’s gothic fashion dates dr1. very random = funny

I saw a YouTube video show a short clip of bcs in a totally unrelated video and I was confused enough (I’m mid watch of bcs and had it open in my other tab so it was technically possible to be. browser error) for just a second that I died to a grenade

I liked his mysteriousness until the payoff fired

I mean hate is a strong word, I feel Toko/Jack has alot of potential but ultimately she ends up an afterthought

They feel like they exist to serve plot. Chiaki is imo a much worse case of this than Kyoko, but I just never clicked with Kyoko, so she felt like just a plot device too given her importance in the story. Sonia just… doesn’t really do anything? She gets into this interesting occult thing, she’s got a dynamic with Gundham, but none of it goes anywhere. Like, she could have potential, but it’s not really baked through.

I mean fair, alot of characters are really flat and reflexive. They all serve a plot though, but I’m assuming you mean Chiaki and Kyoko are just holding your hand as the smart and deductive ones, but, Kyoko does that to a more worse extent than Chiaki, she does chime in sometimes but it’s Hajime that does the work mostly.

Not in terms of the hand-holding (although Kyoko definitely does do that more). I mean more so especially because they are so hugely relevant in the plot and that they don’t pop out to me as characters that it becomes more difficult for me to enjoy them, I guess. Like, Nagito, as much as I would hate him, is interestingly written despite being very plot relevant. Kaito’s big in the plot, but he interacts in interesting ways with Shuichi. If that makes sense.

why is there a gun laying next to them when the tabloid said stabbed. wouldn’t the person like. do something with it if it was theirs.

It clearly didn’t work if they’re laying on the ground all bloodless, now did it
