some family friends are visiting this week and last night after dinner their 7yo daughter came up and asked me to teach her how to make an origami frog
she stuck with it all the way even though she never quite figured out how to do sink folds cuz this is apparently her first time doing origami, she really likes what she made

Also I simultaneously think DR3 made some characters move up on this tierlist, but they might be worse off for it?
like I think Nanami in particular is more likable post-DR3 than pre-DR3, but I also think that itâd be better if they hadnât been integrated into the story at all, if that makes sense?
mixed thoughts on UDG/DR3, in some ways it kinda feels like they shoot themselves in the foot and the bullet kinda hits DR2 off a ricochet lol but its not like any of them were actively bad individually

i am definitely not a fan of the fact that when you think about it nobody you have any level of attachment to whatsoever has died since DR1 ended
cheapens the narrative overall

i hate how dr2 makes you think âi could see how most of these people could be driven to despair by a convincing enough demagogue, idk how they got ibuki or nekomaru but that makes it all the more interestingâ and then dr3âs just like âoh they all just watched the anime that brainwashes youâ

thereâs also an interesting ethical dilemma of âdid makoto do the right thing effectively trying to memory wipe the dr2 kids if they turned to despair of their own accordâ which is rendered wholly moot because they did not
