Like, if your mash playerbase is playing mashes once a year, they’re good games. If your mash playerbase is playing a mash once every two weeks, either they are tirelessly unemployed or they are bad games

I mean they make a travesty of the game of mafia, and that I don’t find this fun at all. I don’t see how the thing that generally happens in shots mashes is worth one’s time. Except IG if you’re friends with all the people in the mash. Which I’m not
i really like mash design because they’re large enough to withstand some truly outrageous roles and concepts that just wouldn’t work at lower volumes.
despite being (technically) involved in both of said mashes running really close together, i do not know why they’re being run so close together. i assume there are larger scheduling reasons, but i am not familiar enough with them to say, but i will say it’s not lost on the team of the second mash that it’s way too close to the first.

They are closer to spec chat Wolfia, but spec chat Wolfia is only fun because of one’s rapport with the other players, and I get annoyed when people are like “come play my spec chat Wolfia” with a buncha people I don’t know

is the implication that the first one’s not gonna be lots of fun or do you just not know enough to tell
the first one is also going to be lots of fun because they’re letting me do events
The pokemon-ish mash had a lot of work and passion put into it by Neil and Lissa, and it would be a genuine shame if it doesn’t fill. For the Halloween game, I think it’s already filled so I don’t need to try to recruit for it regardless.

shots mashes are like… people aren’t taking them seriously, and that’s fine. But if you can get a 70 person game that everyone is taking seriously it’s gonna be great.
