Having been a part of like 4 FAM teams in varying capacities and 2 MU Anni teams, I find them to be the hardest mashes to make well.

right like iāve always had this opinion but i never really share it because i know everyone will cancel me for it
but genuinely mashes are like, already chaotic enough that they are on the borderline of chaotic-but-still-mafia and shots mashes are just like. here have a game where you can shoot someone for no reason, wolves wonāt post until the end of the day by which point town has already killed itself, town is ~guaranteed to lose (i have never seen them win a shots mash). like idk the outcome is so predetermined that it just doesnāt feel like thereās any point to me. at the end of the day itās still supposed to be a social deduction game not just a shoot ur friends game

the funny thing is this is literally the best case scenario for shots mashes, in reality itās way worse than this because of wolves intentionally afkāing until villagers have killed each other a bunch

I mean mashes can suck or whatever and they are zoomery but idk. I like playing mafia in probabilities. I get frozen up pushing someone I think is 60% is wolf in a normal mafia game, but you donāt really have to worry about that in mashes because you can fill a list with 60% wolves and come out of it great ~no matter what

I like mashes more than regular mafia because thereās always someone I can move on from and theyāre quicker which means if I suffer I suffer less

I also get bored in normal mafia too because it kinda doesnāt matter what you say for 90% of the day because EoD is where all movement happens but in mashes it always matters and you can basically always choose to read a new slot instead of agonizing over the same ones.
