Look, I get it, you didn’t like that one. You can also describe the relative advantages and disadvantages of a dual-beam-in-space instrument versus a dual-beam-in-time instrument
one is better for monochromatic viewing purposes and one is better for all around
And you STILL haven’t answered my awesome engineering question
Essentially true
you pay to have the opportunity to do this?
what is orange even here for if not to answer awesome engineering questions
providing an unwavering level of unease upon sight
benguined ask a question
Is it better for somebody to dedicate their life to a “practical” pursuit (let’s say oncology) than an “impractical” one (making art)? Do you personally feel any obligation to do the former, and do you think others should?
is the purpose of an entity what it does?
consider this my question
hmhmhmhmhm
Nobody is answering MY really GOOD question that I asked
it depends on what you qualify as “what it does”
i’m gonna go with no though, especially for complex entities like humans
we need artists so the oncologists can unwind in their free time
it depends on demand for each
second answer is no and no given current market
No
No no yes
also for that specific example there’s an artificial scarcity of doctors - more people want to be doctors than are allowed to be doctors. so there’s like basically no guilt in not wanting to be one
also a surgeon who isn’t actually passionate about what they do is presumably more prone to error
