Iāve been watching Twin Peaks because Iāve never seen it before and figured I should. Iām on the last episode of season 2, episode 22. David Lynch and Mark Frost evidently stopped really being involved after S2E8, and it shows. Itās always been a weird fucking show, but it was at least compelling until then. The back 14 has been so much weaker than what came before. The thought of continued it S3 is a mixed bag because of it, but Lynch comes back at least. Him writing the character he portrays to say to transphobes āfix your hearts or dieā is really compelling though. That goes crazy, and I feel like I owe it to the man to see it as it was meant to be seen.
I donāt really care about colors that much besides liking aqua. Iām not even sure if I like aqua I just like to choose aqua
I got shoes that are white and aqua they were like 80 bucks shoes are expensiveā¦
you should watch fargo
ImaginaryNeon: You should strap a bomb to your wrist, because watches are lame in comparison to the funny moment⢠of being interrogated for duct taping a stick of dynamite to your wrist.
āWhat time is it?ā
My ever-helpful watch:

Ah, of course.
Kablammo oāclock.
personally when Iām buying a watch I want:
- contains substantial amounts of volatile materials that go kaboom
- water proof ish
- cylindrical
- has a fuse that you can light to make it blow (for seeing nothing of use at night)
these are all sufficiently cheap and easy to acquire that I usually also go for
- red (one of the best colors)
Does the no slur rule extend to slurs against robots and AI
Shower thought: modern day monetization of many games is seen as greedy and predatory, but 80s arcades is not, even though you have to insert a coin every time you wanna play or revive
You have to physically be in the arcade. You playing on the machine means no one else can use it. The cabinet was a relatively expensive piece of hardware. There wasnāt generally an element of FOMO (most cabinets in an arcade could be expected to be there next week). Games in an arcade were generally not gambling or were not activating the same part of the brain in the same way a slot machine would.
Virtually none of this is true for something like a limited time banner for a gacha. Thereās no barrier to access or scarcity. There isnāt a third party operator that owns the game or specialized hardware that you, the player, have to interact with. The banner is limited time for FOMO and pulls are very much gambling. These differences are why one is predatory. Itās not that money exchanging hands part, itās the predation.
Does anyone want to sub into a game on Nintendo Loop lol
