last night i had a dream in which i was in an astronaut school of sorts except the school had a bit where in order to do the part of going into space (not the other astronaut stuff) you had to agree to. fake your own death? I think? or otherwise obscure your status for 10 years while you trained

and then after that 10 years you would have your memory of those years wiped and then you would go into space (donā€™t ask me how this is at all effective it was a dream)

i somehow ended up being the first person to take this course; it was distinct because the first part of the dream took place in the Normal astronaut school (details are gone on what that means but ssshhh) and my memory jumped from ā€œfirst day of normal astronaut school i hope they dont realize im a fraud; oh look im going to go into this 10 years course i wonder if my friends will think im aliveā€ to ā€œI am manning the first mission to this alien planet to do some esoteric processā€ (which im pretty sure was a thiny veiled Enderā€™s Game moment :skull:)

there was also a time loop bit right before this where we had to figure out how to neutralize the guy guarding the room on the first day??? i think that was an unrelated dream that just happened to segway though since the neutralization is just ā€œhow do you push the button on his forehead that kills him without him seeing youā€ hitman style
