My last experience with fan fiction is having a discord friend who was really enthusiastic about writing Arcane fanficiton and insisting I give it feedback to help her improve. I greatly enjoyed her initial chapters, then there was one chapter I disliked, and I explained why, and she got so upset with my feedback that she stopped talking to me for a year

to be frank most of the deltarune fics i find are. Really not that good and i end up reading one sentence and dropping it
and i compulsively filter spamton/tenna (and tenna/reader and spamton/reader which are strangely common) because i just Can’t See It despite it being the most popular
that’s likely because idgaf about any of the darkners except ralsei though. im actually mostly in it for “susie Finds Out” (about the soul) things tbh even though most of them are wildly different from what would actually happen

If it’s a common occurence, they are just not author material.
