i was trying to get to sleep early but then I was like ā€œhmm i should read a bookā€ and then it was almost midnight and then i was awake for like half an hour thinking about the book[1] but I still woke up at like 8:30 which is earlier than most other days this break [2].

Finished the book. It was really good. Canā€™t wait to see it mangled on the big screen.

I donā€™t really know how to describe it & think itā€™s probably best underexplained but mostly I just liked the narration it felt particularly real even as the main character does self-destructive things.

Aliens arrive & make everyone do a puzzle hunt & local woman becomes internet celebrity and it does not go well
