ba sing se is such a good arc!

plus intro of azula as great antagonist over the generic general of season 1 (I get why general was importanat character to establish essence of what fire nation is but he wasnā€™t that interesting individually) and proper start of zuko backstory/arc

ATLA was a childrenā€™s cartoon and despite watching it when I was still a teenager it never struck me as anything other than, like, an above-average childrenā€™s movie. I donā€™t understand why people loved it so much

i watched the first season but for some reason the writers forgot that teenagers could actually be charismatic and funny and made the main squad incredibly boring to watch

TBF I did not watch cartoons or movies as a child unless my older friends strongly recommended them so the cartoons Iā€™ve watched are. Like. Steven Universe. She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. ATLA
