my family is huge but most of them are in Lebanon or a similar unreachable distance so it’s not really common

I am annoyed!! Bc I always keep my wallet in the center console of my car
But I told my mom I did this and she insistiently told me I should stop bc it’ll get stolen (this was yesterday)
I told her I’d lose it bc that’s where I keep it and I have forgetfulness issues but she wouldn’t let it go
So I started doing it today
And I lost my wallet

This doesn’t help with physical cash but my phone case has a wallet attached to the back that lets you place cards and id in it

fwiw i keep my company ID card (objectively more important to me than my wallet) down in the door side pocket thingy
its not easily visible from outside of the car, unlike the center console, but is just as easy to reach
might be worth trying that?
that being said the real right answer is to just get a small carrier for your license and 2-3 cards, and then keep everything else tucked away somewhere you only need to whip it out in extenuating circumstances

Alpha (twitch streamer) uses date start (Toby fox) at the start of every sponsership. Sponsers have started to realize that he doesn’t actually own the license so he reached out to Toby Fox for a license to use it and Toby Fox says “sorry, we don’t normally do that. However, theoretically, since everything I use is online, if you were to do a 1-1 exact recreation of the song, you can just say you created it”

EVIDENTLY it is about 100x more likely I am to lose my wallet than her it stolen by keeping it where I do
